We are currently seeking a talented Civil site engineer to join our energetic team and play a key role in shaping the future of our company. Eligibility Criteria: 1. Willing to travel to site, will be often visiting our projects in and around Hyderabad (may have to visit other cities in India in future if required) to shoot required footage of company projects and team activities for social media platforms (travel allowance is provided) 2. Working Days: The standard work schedule is six days a week. Sunday is week off which might alter based on business needs(have to be adhered) 3.Language: Proficiency in Telugu communication is a must. (will be handling majorly Telugu clients in Hyderabad, basic Hindi is manageable, basic English is required. Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with architects, designers, and other engineers to develop project plans and specifications.
- Conducting site investigations and surveys to gather data for project planning and design.
- Assisting in the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and timelines.
- Overseeing and managing construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to project plans, budget , and quality standards.
- Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
- Conducting regular site inspections to assess work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to regulations..
- Conducting material testing and quality inspections at various stages of construction.
- Documenting and reporting any quality issues or deviations from project specifications.
- Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Monitoring project expenses and expenditures to ensure adherence to the budget.
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities and proposing value engineering solutions to optimise project costs.
- Maintaining accurate records of construction activities, including daily progress reports, inspection reports, and change orders.
- Preparing and reviewing project documentation, such as drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Generating regular progress reports for project stakeholders, including clients, management, and regulatory agencies.
- Addressing client inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Identifying and resolving technical issues, conflicts, and challenges that arise during the construction process.
- Mediating disputes and conflicts between contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Conducting final inspections and walkthroughs to ensure that construction work meets client expectations and project requirements.
- Assisting in the preparation of project closeout documents, including as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and warranties.
- Providing post-construction support and addressing any warranty issues or deficiencies identified during the warranty period.
- Staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to civil engineering and construction.
- Pursuing continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledgeQualification:
- Proficiency in CAD Software, Civil 3D, or Revit for creating engineering drawings and plans.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and concepts related to construction, structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, and materials science.
- Understanding of local building codes, zoning regulations, and construction standards
- Basic knowledge of surveying techniques and equipment for conducting site surveys, measurements, and topographic mapping.
- Ability to manage construction projects, coordinate activities, and track progress to ensure timely completion within budget and quality standards.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are important for interacting with clients, contractors, project team members
- Full-time commitment: no freelance work is allowed.
- At least a commitment of one year is required to apply for this position.
