Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Manager to lead our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, project management, and team leadership. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the successful completion of projects within budget, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management:
• Plan, execute, and oversee civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead and manage a team of civil engineers, site supervisors, and construction workers.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee the highest standards of workmanship.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
• Budget and Cost Management:
• Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
• Monitor project expenses and implement cost control measures to avoid budget overruns.
• Prepare financial reports and forecasts for management review.
• Scheduling and Coordination:
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all project phases.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Resolve any scheduling conflicts or delays that may arise during the project.
• Safety Management:
• Promote and enforce a culture of safety on all construction sites.
• Develop and implement safety plans and procedures in accordance with industry standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
• Client Relations:
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
• Provide regular project updates and reports to clients, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
• Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Civil Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering and project management.
• Experience in managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Project Management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
