Civil Engineer
Job Description
Civil engineers design, construct, and maintain the built environment. Their responsibilities include:
• Planning : Analyzing data, site selection, and regulations
• Designing : Using software to create plans and models for transportation, hydraulic, and structural systems
• Assessing : Evaluating the environmental impact and risks of projects
• Managing : Leading teams, managing budgets, and scheduling purchases and deliveries
• Complying : Ensuring projects meet legal requirements, especially health and safety
• Communicating : Working with clients, architects, and subcontractors
• Presenting : Producing presentations to showcase solutions to problems
• Maintaining : Managing the construction, repair, maintenance, and replacement of buildings and infrastructure
• Compiling : Compiling job specs and reports
• Overseeing : Overseeing the work of junior staff
• Advising : Advising management on needed actions
Civil engineers may work for contractors, owners, developers, or program managers. They can report to project managers, construction managers, or design managers.

Pay: ?55,000.00 - ?60,000.00 per month
