:
A site engineer/foreman is responsible for ensuring the successful completion of construction projects, working collaboratively with other professionals and leading and guiding execution team, labour, vendors to deliver high-quality results to the client on time.
Responsibilities:
• Reviewing project plans, specifications, and work schedules to ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards.
• Should have knowledge of Survey
• Coordinating and supervising the work of execution work force/ craftsman / Masons, Carpenters, etc., ensuring that all work is carried out to the required standard and in accordance with project plans and specifications.
• Assisting with the planning and scheduling of work for daily, weekly and monthly, setting goals and targets for execution teams and individuals, and monitoring progress to ensure that project milestones are achieved.
• Preparing and maintaining project documentation, such as progress reports, site diaries, and quality control reports.
• Identifying and addressing any issues or delays that arise during the construction process, working collaboratively with other professionals, such as architects, contractors, and project managers.
• Ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards.
• Managing project resources, such as materials, labour, and equipment, to ensure that work is completed on time and within budget.
• Participating in project meetings and providing regular updates on progress, risks, and issues.
• Identifying and recommending improvements to work processes, procedures, and quality standards.
• Mentoring and guiding site engineer trainees, sharing knowledge and expertise, and providing feedback on their performance.
• Ensuring that all work is carried out to a high standard, in line with client expectations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and Quality standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other professionals, such as architects and project managers., Sub-contractors, Workers
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage resources, such as materials, labor, and equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Finishing site engineers should be willing to travel to the project site as per business requirements.
