Project: Mace is providing PMC services for a station redevelopment project in Mumbai. Your responsibilities will include: Developing detailed designs for bridges, culverts, overpasses, underpasses, and other road-related structures, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. Conducting feasibility studies, site investigations, and surveys to assess the suitability of proposed locations for infrastructure development. Creating project plans, including budgets, timelines, and resource allocation, and ensuring adherence to project milestones. Collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to integrate bridge and road designs into the overall railway project. Coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and construction activities. Conducting regular site visits to monitor construction progress, verify compliance with design specifications, and address any technical issues that may arise. Reviewing and approving construction drawings, technical specifications, and quality assurance plans. Performing structural analyses and calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of bridges and road structures. Communicating and collaborating with project stakeholders, including government agencies, consultants, and local communities, to address concerns, obtain necessary permits, and ensure project alignment with environmental and social requirements. Participating in meetings, presentations, and public consultations to provide technical expertise and respond to queries related to bridge and road design. Preparing detailed technical reports, progress updates, and construction documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information. Maintaining records of design changes, construction deviations, and any other relevant project documentation. About you You will have a degree qualification in civil engineering. You have previous working experience on railway development project. You are rated as highly capable and competent with very good experience of working in a local environment and knowledge of the language. You are digitally savvy and can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams.
