Job Description

• Creating Technical Drawings: Using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate and detailed drawings based on rough sketches, specifications, and design calculations provided by engineers and architects.
• Drafting Plans and Layouts: Developing plans, drawings, and layouts for various civil engineering projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, pipelines, and utilities. This involves ensuring adherence to project standards, codes, and specifications.
• Detailing and Annotations: Adding necessary details, dimensions, annotations, and specifications to drawings to accurately convey the requirements of the project. This includes detailing structural components, materials, and finishes.
• Modifications and Revisions: Assisting engineers and architects in making modifications to drawings as per project revisions, client feedback, and site conditions. Ensuring all changes are accurately documented and updated in the drawings.
• Document Management: Maintaining organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation. Ensuring drawings are properly archived and accessible for future reference and audits.
• Staying Updated: Keeping abreast of industry trends, CAD software updates, and advancements in drafting techniques. Continuously improving skills and knowledge to enhance productivity and efficiency in drafting tasks.
