About the role

We are looking for a lead product manager (Digital & AI) for our distributor and dealer facing applications. This person\'s primary responsibility will be improve same-store sales & after-sales productivity and in-store customer experience in our dealer network with our web & mobile dealer management applications, using product mgmt lifecycle management processes and frameworks. This role will engage actively with end-customers, dealer sales & after-sales executives, service advisors, calling executives, TVSM field sales & service staff, marketing, product engineering, SEO, web analytics and data science team.

This position will report to the Sr. divisional manager of product management for distributor & dealer facing applications, India and international business.

Product manager will oversee the development of software, data and AI products from start to finish to ensure they meet the end-user needs and preferences. Product manager\'s main duties includes driving the vision of products, translating product vision to a product roadmap, managing various backlog items and deciding which features each product will have according to stakeholder\'s and customer\'s preferences. Product manager will define the why and when of the product in partnership with business sponsors, and will co-own what and how in partnership with engineering & analytics colleagues.

Your Roles & Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to craft vision and concept development. The PO has to ensure the short- and long-term strategy and has to define the higher-level backlog items such as epics and features, etc.

Managing the Customer discovery, customer validation, customer creation and company building lifecycle (MVP, Product-market fit and scale)

Take lead of scrum teams, defining product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, communicating with stakeholders throughout the project

Actively collaborate with technical teams, invite them for user-research, remove bottlenecks

Work with internal and external contacts to analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals

Work closely with product management/business teams to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI

Keep up with agile/scrum best practices and trends

Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements

Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development

Developing user stories, Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process, Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints

Share wins and accolades with technical colleagues. Put your team and your technical colleagues before you, for recognition.

Experience & Qualifications

Overall, 6-10 years of experience, Bachelor\'s degree in engineering or MBA from a premium institute

At least 3+ years of experience in Product manager or product manager role

Completed certification or a diploma program in digital product management. Excellent knowledge of user-centred design thinking principles, Ability to work with large cross-functional teams, Understanding of design quality standards

Experience in building customer facing digital ecosystem. Front end Apps (like web, native mobile apps, PWA), content management systems (like Sitecore, Drupal), web analytics (like GA360), SEO, personalization, search, marketing automation platforms.

Understanding of automobile (and other similar products) customer lifecycle, understanding of automobile retail mgmt ecosystem, both offline channels and digital channels

In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology

Working knowledge of product development architecture

Ability to prioritize effectively

Working experience with software product development collaboration tools like JIRA, confluence, MS planner, trello, Asana. Experience with user research tools and user-testing tools

Working understanding of design of experiments (DOE), ability to mine data with SQL/python, generate insights with BI tools is a plus
