Greetings from Synergy Resource Solutions, a leading HR Management Consultancy.Our client is hiring a Network Security Engineer to join our Global SOC team. Engineer work in a team environment to monitor the health and wellness of security devices on our partner\xe2\x80\x99s client networks. You will work with a fast-paced global leader in IT Security Services providing support to our vast partner base amid an ever-changing technology landscape.They want to hire persons for below mentioned requirement:Designation: CISCO MerakiLocation: Work from Office (Ahmedabad)Experience: 4 \xe2\x80\x93 5 yearsJob timings: 24x7 Rotational Shifts with any 2 days of week offs in a weekResponsibilities

• To get the most out of network routine performance by set assessment, troubleshoot the network issues and outages, setting up upgrades and cooperating with network architects on its optimization
• To undertake investigations of data network failure in LAN and WAN surroundings through multiple sources
• To safeguard the network systems by creating and applying policies, along with monitoring access
• To administer firewall settings in line with IT security strategy
• To upgrade data network devices to the new stable platform
• To configure routing and switching tools, hosted IP voice services and firewalls
• To provide remote support to customers during installation of Routers and Switches.
• To deliver remote resolution and problem finding if issues occur upon early installation procedure.

Skills/Experience

• Required Network Security Knowledge: Routing , Switching, FortiGate, Cisco, Meraki, HP ProCurve and Dell Switches
• Routing protocols: -Static and Dynamic (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP etc). Expertise in BGP is mandatory.
• Redundancy protocol (HSRP, VRRP, GLBP etc).
• Strong understanding of technologies and protocols such as RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q.
• LAN Switching: - CSMA/CD, VLan\xe2\x80\x99s, Inter VLAN routing, VXLan, MPLS, Label Switching, STP, RSTP, MSTP, Dynamic trunking protocol, VTP, EtherChannel LACP & PAgP.
• Mitigation techniques: - Access list, port security, BPDU guard/filter, Root guard.
• Knowledge of Cisco ACI (Tenant, Bridge domain, EPG, Contract, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of Cybersecurity and Data Center technologies
• Hands-on CISCO Routers and Switches and Meraki Devices with implementation and support expertise while working with USA, UK, and Australian customers.
• Solid understanding of general security and networking principals and technologies such as:
• Security Infrastructure: Firewalls, VPN, IPS, Anti-Virus, Web Filtering and Application control
• Networking Infrastructure: Switching, Routing, Load Balancing (SD-WAN), LAN, WAN
• Hands on experience analyzing or reviewing events from firewalls, IDS, HIPS, and Email and Web Gateway.
• Agree to work on multivendor and multi-technology
• Advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis experience, getting to the root cause, problem-solving
• Functional knowledge of network troubleshooting and analysis tools, such as Wireshark and tcpdump
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment managing critical security events
• Must have the ability to learn, grasp, and understand new technologies
• Willingness to acquire in-depth knowledge of network and host security technologies and desire to continuously improve these skills
• Individual must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work within a high- performance team
• Effective tracking and task reporting skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent problem solving & diagnostic skills

Desirable Criteria & Qualification

• Knowledge and experience in Routing and Switching or equivalent.
• Desirable certifications include Security+, CCNA, CCNP, or similar.
• Experience with International customers is highly desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of Experience.

Working hours

• Rotational shifts 6 AM to 3 PM,12 PM to 9 PM and 9 PM to 6 AM
• 24x7 Rotational Shifts with any 2 days of week offs in a week
