Continuous Integration & Delivery Architect


(CI/CD Architect)





The CI/CD Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the CI/CD infrastructure and tools to deliver high-quality software on demand. They will work closely with the development and operations teams to ensure efficient and effective software delivery practices. They will need to work across globally based teams to align best practices and evangelize standards of practice.






Key Responsibilities


• Design, set up, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple platforms and environments.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure that solutions are designed with customer user experience, scale/performance, and operability in mind.
• Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines).
• Collaborate with team members to improve the company's engineering tools, systems and procedures, and data security.
• Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability.
• Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation
• Working across multiple geographic development locations and code bases to orchestrate high quality and efficient CI/CD processes and pipeline delivery


Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a CI/CD Architect or similar role in software development and system administration.
• Understanding of Azure DevOps, version control systems, code repository management, infrastructure monitoring tools and other various CI/CD tools and technologies
• Experience with databases and SQL.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of selected coding languages (e.g. Python, Java).
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and Agile methodologies.
