Chinese Translator
Job Description
A Chinese Translator interprets and translates written and spoken Chinese languages into the target language, typically English or Hindi
Key responsibilities:
- Translate documents, reports, and materials from Chinese to English (Vice versa)
- Interpret conversations, meetings, and presentations
- Proofread and edit translated texts for accuracy and clarity
- Conduct research to understand context and terminology
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency
- Meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality
Typical requirements:
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or related field
- 1-5 years of translation experience
- Strong understanding of Chinese culture and nuances
- Proficiency in CAT tools (e.g., Trados, MemoQ)
Location : Chennai & Ponneri (Tamil nadu)
Preference : Local candidate's.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
