As a Chinese Cuisine Chef at RAS Residency, a 3 star hotel, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of authentic Chinese dishes for our restaurant. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of food quality, guest satisfaction, and kitchen hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook authentic Chinese dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts.
• Ensure that all dishes meet the hotel's high-quality standards and are presented beautifully.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, following food safety protocols.
• Manage kitchen inventory for Chinese cuisine ingredients and ensure the proper storage of ingredients.
• Work effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Monitor portion control and quality assurance for all meals.
• Stay updated on trends in Chinese cuisine and suggest new dishes for the restaurant menu.
• Collaborate with the management team to improve guest satisfaction and food offerings.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Chinese Cuisine Chef or in a similar role.
• Expertise in Chinese cooking techniques and regional cuisines (Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, etc.).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
