We are seeking a passionate and skilled Indo-Chinese Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at Asian House. The ideal candidate will bring creativity and expertise to prepare authentic and innovative Indo-Chinese dishes that match the high standards of our establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook a wide range of Indo-Chinese dishes, including starters, main courses, and accompaniments.
• Innovate and develop new recipes while maintaining authenticity and consistency.
• Manage kitchen operations efficiently, ensuring food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
• Monitor food stocks and ingredients, maintaining inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth workflow and timely preparation of dishes.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and kitchen cleanliness at all times.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Proven experience as an Indo-Chinese Chef, with in-depth knowledge of Indo-Chinese cuisine and cooking techniques.
• Ability to create traditional and fusion dishes that meet customer expectations.
• Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Creativity and a passion for culinary innovation.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
• Culinary certification or relevant professional experience preferred.
