As a Chinese Chef at Kadambra Family Restaurant, you will play a pivotal role in crafting authentic and delicious Chinese dishes to elevate the dining experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Menu Development:
Design and curate a variety of authentic Chinese dishes that align with the restaurant's standards.
Innovate and introduce seasonal and special dishes to keep the menu dynamic and appealing.
• Food Preparation and Presentation:
Prepare high-quality dishes with attention to detail, taste, and presentation.
Ensure consistency in flavor, portion size, and plating of all Chinese menu items.
• Kitchen Management:
Organize and oversee kitchen operations related to Chinese cuisine.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure ingredient availability.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
• Quality Control:
Ensure all dishes meet high standards of taste, texture, and appearance.
Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff to create a cohesive culinary team.
Train and mentor junior staff in Chinese cooking techniques and best practices.
• Cost Management:
Minimize wastage and manage portion control to maintain profitability.
Suggest cost-effective ways to source ingredients without compromising quality.
• Customer Focus:
Respond to customer feedback regarding Chinese dishes and make adjustments as needed.

Qualifications:
