We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chinese Master (Chef) to join our restaurant's culinary team. As a Chinese Master, you will be responsible for creating authentic and delicious Chinese cuisine, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation, and maintaining a high standard of kitchen hygiene. Your expertise in traditional Chinese cooking techniques, creativity, and attention to detail will be crucial in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our patrons.Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning and Development:
  • Collaborate with the management team to create and update the Chinese cuisine menu.
  • Introduce innovative dishes while maintaining authenticity and cultural integrity.
  • Source high-quality, fresh ingredients to enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Food Preparation and Cooking:
  • Execute traditional Chinese cooking techniques with precision and skill.
  • Oversee the preparation of a variety of dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
  • Kitchen Management:
  • Lead and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Monitor and manage inventory, ordering supplies as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Quality Control:
  • Conduct regular quality checks on all dishes to ensure they meet the restaurant's standards.
  • Address any issues with food quality promptly and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to address customer feedback and make necessary improvements.
  • Cost Control:
  • Manage food costs by minimizing waste, optimizing portion sizes, and monitoring inventory.
  • Contribute to the development of cost-effective recipes without compromising quality.
  • Customer Interaction:
