We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chinese Master (Chef) to join our restaurant\'s culinary team. As a Chinese Master, you will be responsible for creating authentic and delicious Chinese cuisine, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation, and maintaining a high standard of kitchen hygiene. Your expertise in traditional Chinese cooking techniques, creativity, and attention to detail will be crucial in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our patrons. Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning and Development:
  • Collaborate with the management team to create and update the Chinese cuisine menu.
  • Introduce innovative dishes while maintaining authenticity and cultural integrity.
  • Source high-quality, fresh ingredients to enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Food Preparation and Cooking:
  • Execute traditional Chinese cooking techniques with precision and skill.
  • Oversee the preparation of a variety of dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
  • Kitchen Management:
  • Lead and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Monitor and manage inventory, ordering supplies as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Quality Control:
  • Conduct regular quality checks on all dishes to ensure they meet the restaurant\'s standards.
  • Address any issues with food quality promptly and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to address customer feedback and make necessary improvements.
  • Cost Control:
  • Manage food costs by minimizing waste, optimizing portion sizes, and monitoring inventory.
  • Contribute to the development of cost-effective recipes without compromising quality.
  • Customer Interaction:
  • Occasionally interact with customers to understand their preferences and gather feedback.
  • Showcase your culinary skills through live cooking demonstrations or special events.
