Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Childcare assistant to join our team in Madurai. As a Childcare assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering fun and engaging early childhood lessons and activities to promote learning and development in children aged 3-5 years. Subjects will include pre-reading, pre-math, creative arts, physical education etc.
• Creating a warm, nurturing classroom environment where children feel safe, stimulated and able to learn through play.
• Conducting assessments and maintaining records to track each child's progress. Communicating regularly with parents.
• Managing class routines such as attendance, meal-times, nap-times etc. Ensuring safety and supervision of children at all times.
• Participating in school events, programs and excursions.
• Keeping the classroom organized and well-stocked with learning materials and toys.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of experience teaching Preschool/Montessori. Relevant degree/certification in Early Childhood Education is preferable.
• Proficiency in English and Tamil is essential to effectively communicate with children and parents.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Ability to engage and motivate young learners.
• Warm, caring, patient and nurturing personality.
• Willingness to work on weekday mornings/afternoons as per the Preschool schedule.
