Job Description

Position Overview

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) - Edtech at Code Edu will be responsible for driving the technological vision, strategy, and operations of the organization. This role combines leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on technical expertise to ensure the development and implementation of innovative solutions that align with Code Edu's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities
1. Product Development and Vendor Management

• Lead the development, deployment, and enhancement of Code Edu's products to meet the highest industry standards.
• Oversee server maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance with security protocols.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of services.

2. Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication

• Facilitate MoUs and agreements with third parties for technology development and partnerships.
• Serve as a bridge between the tech team and stakeholders to ensure clear communication of requirements and deliverables.

3. Operations and Resource Optimization

• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SoPs) and handbooks for the effective use of Code Edu's products.
• Optimize resource allocation and management across all four segments of Code Edu to ensure seamless operations.
• Implement rigorous testing protocols to maintain the quality and reliability of software products and services.
• Provide monthly updates to the HQ team on operations, including data uploads to LMS, onboarding students and faculty, and more.

4. Tech Funding, IP, and Asset Management

• Oversee financial planning and budgeting for all technology-related initiatives.
• Manage Code Edu's intellectual property portfolio and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Explore and secure funding opportunities for tech projects and infrastructure upgrades.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, preferably in the education or edtech sector.
• Proven experience in software development, server management, and technology vendor management.
• Familiarity with financial planning, IP management, and resource optimization.

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?70,000.00 per month
