Chief Signalling Expert - India (Expat Role)EWI are supporting a leading international consultancy working on a prestigious Rail project in Delhi, India. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Signalling Expert to play a critical role in the development and implementation of advanced transportation systems.Key Responsibilities:

• Critical Study of DPR: Analyse the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the project, focusing on signalling, automatic fare collection, platform screen doors, and telecommunication systems.
• Procurement Strategy and Bid Management: Develop procurement strategies and manage bid processes for selecting contractors, suppliers, and detailed design consultants.
• Proof-Checking and System Integration: Review and approve designs, drawings, technical proposals, and specifications, ensuring effective system integration and interface management.
• Supervision of Implementation Activities: Oversee the implementation of signalling, automatic fare collection, platform screen doors, and telecommunication systems.
• Quality Assurance Plan Development: Create and implement a comprehensive Quality Assurance Plan for all systems.
• Inspection and Commissioning: Conduct inspections, testing, trials, secure statutory approvals, and oversee the commissioning process.
• Knowledge Transfer and Capacity Building: Facilitate the transfer of knowledge and build capacity within NCRTC personnel.
• Project Management and Monitoring: Lead project management efforts, ensuring efficient monitoring and timely completion of the project.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Metro & Railway Signalling Systems (ERTMS, ETCS, CBTC and Telecom)
