Implementation of Corporate Systems & Procedures at Project sites including customer requirements (contractual).\xc2\xb7 Implementation of EHS Policy, guidelines, procedures & compliance to legal requirements to establish a culture of health and safety etc. Provide clear, complete & binding instructions, as applicable.\xc2\xb7 Identifies, monitors, and analyses Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) issues and opportunities and adds value by using EHS indicators to improve processes.\xc2\xb7 Participating in EHS core team meetings in identifying aspects & hazards at the workplace/facilities and establish control measures. Guiding & training site personnel in implementing them.\xc2\xb7 Selection, evaluation & performance monitoring of on-site contractors including a system of penalties & incentives.\xc2\xb7 Identify training needs, plan, and organize training programmes on EHS at different levels and Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention.\xc2\xb7 Contributes to internal and external EHS audits - plan and conduct EHS audits at the project site & take corrective/preventive actions promptly.\xc2\xb7 Identify near misses, unsafe acts & unsafe conditions and ensure corrective /preventive actions as approved by core EHS team.\xc2\xb7 Incident/Accident communication (escalation), investigation, analysis & recommendation of corrective & preventive actions to the Project Manager, Project Team, BU EHS officer and Opc. EHS officer.\xc2\xb7 Ensure use of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) as required based on nature of work and Ensure availability of all safety gadgets in the project sites.\xc2\xb7 Analyses and monitors adherence to EHS standards in assigned organizations and prepares regular EHS reporting.\xc2\xb7 Coordination with internal & external partners on EHS topic.\xc2\xb7 Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the requirements.\xc2\xb7 Work in partnership with senior and site management to develop and implement strategies, policies, and services to increase employee safety & reduce organization risks.\xc2\xb7 Prepare and update EHS Legal register.\xc2\xb7 Analyses and reports on changes in relevant EHS laws and regulations and recommend changes for internal standards.\xc2\xb7 Supports the site management to improve health and safety and to minimize the impact on the environment.\xc2\xb7 Ensures EHS communication flow and reporting.\xc2\xb7 Escalates issues to next level in situations where issues cannot be solved, where the business will suffer significant impact or in cases of noncompliance with legal, business or client demands.\xc2\xb7 Provides proactive EHS advice to the Site TeamDesired Skills:\xc2\xb7 You Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Rail Industry;\xc2\xb7 Full time Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with Post graduate diploma in Industrial Safety & Environment (PGDISEM) approved by state technical board /RLI/CLI/NICMAR\xc2\xb7 Added advantage: will be with candidates possessing ME in industrial safety management from NIT, NEBOSH qualified and Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 14001 & ISO 45001Join us and be yourself!We value your unique identity and perspective and are fully committed to providing equitable opportunities and building a workplace that reflects the diversity of society.
