Job Description
Graduate/ Diploma in an discipline or Diploma in Safety, Health or environment Management or construction Management having 3/ 5 years of experience in Safety Management in tunnelling projects. Responsible personnel ensuring the highest standards of safety, health, and environmental compliance throughout the project. This is a critical role that requires a strong background in safety management, particularly in tunnelling projects. able to handle the following:
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and programs specific to the tunnel construction site, in alignment with applicable local, regional, and international regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Ensuring ISO system & implementation of the same,
- Investigation of incidents and accidents at site,
- Provide guidance and training to site personnel on safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and the proper use of safety equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, new regulations, and emerging trends in safety management, and apply relevant knowledge to enhance site safety practices.
