Chief Rolling Stock Expert - Rail Project, India (Expat Position)EWI are supporting a leading European consultancy in their search for a highly experienced Chief Rolling Stock Expert for a major rail project in India. This role is open to expatriates only and offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape key phases of the project with a dynamic team.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee Detail Design and Construction Design reviews
- Supervise on-site works and provide expert support during Testing & Commissioning (T&C)
- Support trial runs and the final project takeover process
- Manage Contractor's contract and interface with multiple stakeholders
- Serve as a primary liaison between the project Contractor and Client
- Degree qualified in Engineering or a related field
- 20+ years of professional experience in the rail industry
- Minimum 7 years of focused experience in rolling stock
- Minimum 5 years in a Chief or senior management position
- Proven track record in project leadership, team coordination, and technical oversight on large-scale rail projects
- Salary: xe2x82xac10,000 - xe2x82xac11,500 net per month + accommodation
- Accommodation provided
