CRITICAL EXPERIENCE 8 years experience in Enterprise Risk Management. Candidate would be responsible for mitigating those business risks that can impact a firmxe2x80x99s profitability. This professional will also deal with enterprise risk management issues, reducing those risks that can shut down operations.Chief Risk Officer has to work through department managers to adjust policies and procedures for risk reduction purposes.JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIESThe Chief Risk Officer position is accountable for the risk management operations of the company, to include the integration of risk concepts into strategic planning, and risk identification and mitigation activities.Principal accountabilities are:xefx82xb7 Create an integrated risk framework for the entire organization
xefx82xb7 Assess risk throughout the organization
xefx82xb7 Quantify risk limits
xefx82xb7 Develop plans to mitigate risks
xefx82xb7 Advise on directing capital to projects based on risk
xefx82xb7 Assist functional managers in obtaining risk mitigation funding
xefx82xb7 Monitor the progress of risk mitigation activities
xefx82xb7 Create and disseminate risk measurements and reports
xefx82xb7 Communicate to key stakeholders regarding the risk profile of the businessxefx82xb7 Provide regular and ad-hoc reports to MD & CEO, Risk Management Committee (RMC) and the Board of Directors on the status of risk management activities.
xefx82xb7 Member of various committees like Expenditure Committee, Product and Service Risk Committee, Investment Committee etc.
xefx82xb7 Develop and implement an organization-wide risk management strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives and support to all CXOs in developing appropriate mitigation plans
xefx82xb7 Regularly assess and identify potential risks, both internal and external, that could impact the organization.
xefx82xb7 Establish and enforce risk mitigation policies, procedures, and controls across the organization.
xefx82xb7 Develop and maintain a robust risk management and RCSA framework, including risk appetite, tolerance, and limits.
xefx82xb7 Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
xefx82xb7 Communicate risk exposure and mitigation strategies effectively to all stakeholders.
xefx82xb7 Collaborate with department heads to identify and address risks within their areas of responsibility.
xefx82xb7 Foster a culture of risk awareness and accountability throughout the organization.
xefx82xb7 Build and lead a high-performing risk management team and risk awareness initiatives in organization
xefx82xb7 Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and expertise.
