Main Responsibilities:




• Safeguard that mechanical works are executed according to contract specifications, design directives and Wartsila policies as a member of a project team.
• Develop Power Plant project wise mechanical solution for the client.
• Participate in customer/stakeholder negotiations and maintain good customer/stakeholder relationships.
• Make project specific design and design packages.
• Make purchase specifications and bill of quantities as required for the project execution.
• Co-ordinate the design between sub-suppliers
• Carry out sub-supplier quality- and delivery follow-ups.
• Support our site team during installation and commission phases.
• Responsible for all technical correspondence and assistance with the customer and other stakeholders
• Follow-up and report quality, use of resources, costs, schedule, and scope of the responsibility area.
• Give feedback regarding technical solutions and complaints.
• Work together with sales in assigned sales projects to secure profitable orders.
• Participate in development projects.
• Support and guide and mentor other junior team members.


Requirements :


• Mechanical Engineering Degree with 10 years' experience or Mechanical Diploma with 15 years' experience in project management.
• Technical skills in mechanical engineering.
• PMP certification in good standing is seen as added advantage.
• Self-starter & team working skills.
• Motivation to learn and grow professionally.
• Willingness to travel & ability to understand and work with diverse cultures.
• Experience in negotiation with vendors technically.
• Cost awareness, effectiveness & financial knowledge.
• Good command in English.
• QHSE awareness.
• Negotiation and communication skills.


Work experience in some of following areas will be an added benefit:


• Process & automation.
• Fire protection& detection.
• Steam turbines & systems.
• CHP (Combined heat and power)
