Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with project requirements and company objectives.

Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure supplier performance meets company standards.

Analyze and manage procurement budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions to secure favourable deals.

Resolve any contract disputes or issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

Ensure that all procured materials and services meet project specifications and quality standards.

Coordinate with quality control teams to perform inspections and tests on received materials.

Oversee inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials while minimizing excess stock

Identify potential risks in the procurement process and develop mitigation strategies.

Monitor market trends and conditions to anticipate any disruptions in supply chains.

Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project needs and timelines.

Maintain clear and effective communication channels with all parties involved in the procurement process.

Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and supplier communications.

Required Skill:

Several years of experience in procurement, particularly within the civil construction industry

Understanding of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.

Ability to analyze market trends, financial data, and procurement metrics.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with suppliers, stakeholders, and team members.

Strong problem-solving skills to address procurement challenges and issues.

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?60,000.00 per month
