IDENTITY Group is a 12 years old Organization based out in Bhubaneshwar. It serves in the fields of Corporate & Institutional Training, Career Counseling, L&D Consulting, & CSR.

Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO)



Reports to: Managing Director

Department: Administration

Gender: Male only

Experience: 10+ years

Salary: Within 6 to 7 LPA. However, will be Negotiated based on last drawn salary.

Location: Bhubaneswar

Job Summary:

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of the organization. This role involves planning, coordinating, and leading administrative functions to ensure efficient business operations amongst department. The COO works closely with senior leadership to implement strategic initiatives, streamline processes, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:



Strategic Planning and Leadership:

Collaborate with the MD and senior leadership to develop and execute organizational strategies.

Provide leadership and guidance to the administrative team.

Establish performance metrics and monitor outcomes for administrative operations.

Operational Management:



Oversee daily administrative functions, including HR, IT, Operation, Digital marketing, Govt. Projects

Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and standards to ensure operational efficiency.

Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining service quality.

Team Development:



Recruit, train, and manage administrative staff.

Foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities.

Compliance and Risk Management:



Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.

Identify and mitigate risks related to administrative operations.

Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping practices.

Communication and Coordination:

Act as a liaison between departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Provide regular reports to the CEO and board on administrative performance and challenges.

Represent the organization in external partnerships or negotiations when necessary.

Education:



MBA /PGDM / with Sales Background or ex COO positions is preferred.

Experience:



Proven experience (10+ years) in senior administrative or operations roles, preferably in Education Industry.

Strong background in organizational leadership and operational management.

Skills:



Highly Skilled in Advanced Excel

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Proficient in financial management and resource allocation.

Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.

Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.

General Administration, Administrative Assistance, and Organization Skills

Strong Communication and Customer Service skills

Experience in managing and coordinating long term projects

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects effectively

Excellent organizational and leadership abilities

Knowledge of HR practices and Financial Planning

Knowledge on HR, People management, performance management, work analysis, knowledge on finance model budget, forecasting.
