Hydrogen-related activities are organized within a subsidiary called "John Cockerill Hydrogen". This entity benefi tsfrom:
Its current position as world leader in the manufacture of electrolysers, with over 25 years' experience,
A complete range of integrated solutions for hydrogen production and refueling stations,
Production capacity in Asia and Europe,
An integrated test laboratory for key electrolysers components.
In order to reinforce our Hydrogen Team, John Cockerill is looking for a Senior Proposal Engineer for itsElectrolysers development activity, contributing to the growth of our business.Responsibilities of the mission
The development of bids for Hydrogen projects is handled jointly by a team consisting of:
A Sales Engineer, in charge of commercial aspects,
A Proposal Engineer, in charge of the technical aspects.
The responsibilities of the Proposal Engineer position are the following:
Elaboration of a proposal project in its technical aspect from the receipt of the invitation to tender until thecontract is awarded:
Analysis of the technical specifi cations of the tender and highlighting relevant information to defi neequipment (scope of supply, capacity, performance, specifi c requirements, environmental conditions, generalarrangement, ...) and services (Studies, installation, start-up, training, xe2x80xa6),
Creation of innovative solutions to meet customer needs,
Coordination with the internal experts (electrical, mechanical, thermal, process, instrumentation, qualitycontrol ...), external equipment supplier and project partners,
Cost establishment of the solution based on internal engineering, supplier bids, plant PID and GeneralArrangement,
Preparation of the technical off er:
Defi nition of the scope of supplies and services,
Technical specifi cation of the equipment included in the off er,
Verifi cation of overall layout and Process PID,
Defi nition of the Performance and guarantee,
Defi nition of clarifi cations and technical deviations to the call for tender,
Update of the technical off er and follow-up of the modifi cations of the estimate according to the contacts andclarifi cation meetings with the subcontractors, partners, and customers,
Identifi cation and management of the risks and opportunities associated to the proposal project, defi nemitigation and avoidance strategy,
Negotiation with the client for the preparation of the technical documents of the fi nal contract,
Promoting role of John Cockerill Group to any potential customer, and promoting your projects to employees,customers, and internal suppliers,
Expertise role in your fi eld towards other projects of the entity or the Group,
Product/Market watch role for any development likely to bring added value to the Group (fi eld feedback,customers, prospects ...).Profi le
You possess an engineering background with a master's degree in one of the following fi elds: mechanicalengineering, electromechanical engineering, chemistry, materials processing, electrical engineering, orautomation.
You have accumulated more than 10 years of experience in technical roles related to capital projects within theOil & Gas industry.
Knowledge of the hydrogen market is a strong advantage, as is professional experience in the role of a ProposalEngineer.
Your technical expertise includes profi ciency in PLC (programmable logic controller) automation,instrumentation, power transformation, process engineering, mechanics and electrical engineering.
Your professional experience demonstrates skills in cross-functional management through project coordination.
You have an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong desire to succeed. You can work independently and makingwell-informed decisions.
Your personality is characterized by qualities such as transparency, integrity, teamwork, proactive problem-solving, adaptability, reliability, and a commitment to professional excellence.
You are assertive, charismatic, and possess strong communication skills. You are comfortable in networking andinternational relations.
You are fl uent in English, and fl uency in French is considered as an asset.
