They will know how to ease the transition from home to school and make school a happy place.Principal Accountability & ResponsibilitiesCurriculum Developmentxc2xb7 Research, development and documentation of curriculum for various projectsxc2xb7 Coordinate with the quality checking resources to ensure that the curriculum is in line with the expectationxc2xb7 Enriching the Elementary curriculum as per the requirement and parameters set by SELxc2xb7 Enriching and developing Elementary workbooks to support the SEL curriculumxc2xb7 Creating and maintaining of the curriculum documents to support programme requirementsxc2xb7 Collaborative learning and teaching sessions to strengthen teacher competency and confidenceCustomized training programmes / Training & Development.xc2xb7 Collate the training needs identified during lesson observations and interactions with the teaching facultyxc2xb7 Research, preparation and conducting the programmes for staff of SEL schoolsxc2xb7 Conduct of customized training programmes- both Generic and Domain related for staff of SEL schoolsxc2xb7 Coordinate and conduct professional development sessions for the teaching staff.Create Domain related training modules to use at SEL Schools to strengthen pedagogy.Documentation of systems as per design briefxc2xb7 Creation and periodic review of policy documents (including existing).xc2xb7 Ensure documentation of the required policies for SEL in line with the services offered as per design brief.Ensure customization and implementation of the policies in line with the requirements for each projectProject plansxc2xb7 Provide support in design and implementation of new consultancy projectsxc2xb7 Provide support in all the processes for proper day to day functioning of SEL schoolsxc2xb7 Planning and attending various events in SEL schoolsSchool Co-ordination (for Domain Support only)xc2xb7 Collating documents for record and reference (LO forms and visit reports)xc2xb7 Contribute & Coordinate (wherever applicable) of the monthly operations meetings at SEL (Elementary & Junior School xe2x80x93 Hindi) for all SEL schoolsxc2xb7 Add value and enrich student /teacher learning through explorative engagement and experiences.xc2xb7 Conduct demos and micro teaching sessions at schools to enhance and enrich teachersxe2x80x99 classroom transactions.Create and maintain quality parametersxc2xb7 Ensure training for resources to meet the parametersxc2xb7 Analyse and report the gaps in the system with respect to quality parametersxc2xb7 Observing teaching sessions to monitor the implementation of Shri methodology in the SEL schools.xc2xb7 Empowering teachers/ AcCors to be able to impart Shri values and teaching methodology to students and new members of the school.xc2xb7 Monitoring the development of specific fine and gross motor skills in the early primary yearsCreating and reviewing the year plan based on the vertical progression for all Elementary and Junior GradesOther assignmentsxc2xb7 Participate in training programs organized by the office.xc2xb7 Upgrade existing skills to support the demands of the role.xc2xb7 Keep oneself informed on the latest pedagogy, best practices and new-trends in the education domain.Identify and participate in professional development opportunitiesChallenges/Complexity of Job

  • Align the school team with SELxe2x80x99s ethos and philosophy.
  • Liaise between Principal, Promoter (wherever applicable) and SEL as cultural and regional diversities provide different mindsets and thought processes.
  • As individual complex organizations, the nature of suppxefxbbxbfort provided to each school is tailored, requiring a dynamic approach as per their constant changing needs.
  • To support the school in its own development so that it builds internal capacity and progress, making it sustainable over time.
  • To keep oneself abreast of contemporary best practices and techniques to enrich SELxe2x80x99s existing curriculum and pedagogy.
  • Manage travel plan logistics to accommodate school calendars.
Decision Making Boundaries1. Recommending the best to the school which is in line with the Shri philosophy.2. Share inputs in terms of training and development of school staff.3. Suggest best practices followed in TSEY/TSRS and other SEL schools.4. Decision making in areas related to creation of domain related documentation and intellectual property5. Decisions pertaining to finances of a school are not taken by the consultant.Skills and CompetenciesPedagogy
  • Strong understanding of best practices in either primary or senior (or both) K-12 education
  • Clear understanding of pedagogic language and structure
  • Able to define pedagogy and create pedagogy based on research
Knowledge Management
  • Research, collation and customization of data for a variety of K-12 education based deliverables
  • Documentation of processes, and acquiring data to systematically support documentation
Communication Skills
  • Effective and excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) that are modified to suit different audience groups
  • Presentation capabilities, both ICT and non ICT based
  • Effective listening, to be able to gather feedback and collate
  • Experience and expertise in training

  • Developing solutions based on available data to suit various requirements
  • Enabling others to develop solutions based on their understanding of their needs

  • Breaking down deliverables into multiple activities
