We bring sector expertise, global scale and local knowledge to design and manage supply chains from raw materials and manufacturing to finished goods delivery and return services.ResponsibilitiesRegional / Sub Regional ASPA Management, Country Management Provide financial and business advice to drive strategic investment decisions. Undertake the key role in the yearly business budgeting process and periodic re-estimate process Advise the business on financial implications with respect to major changes, such as acquisitions, financial investments, pricing, costing, systems integration and financial process reengineering. Act as a financial advisor for cross-functional projects to support appropriate investment and financial analyses. Support Sub Regional / Regional Financial Management in Finance projects and initiatives, such as with pilot programs. Support network initiatives and provide regional & local financial input as required.Managing Change Contribute to the integration of financial services. Change business requirements to adapt to the external market and industry changes.- Adjusting financial structure and processes.- Advising business on appropriate course of actions.- Cost and Pricing analyses.- Process Reengineering.Management and Financial Reporting Ensure the timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly and annual reports for internal and Regional Office use in compliance with the Network guidelines, in addition to providing variance analyses and narratives when necessary. Review Balance Sheets and P&L including details, where necessary. Ensure implementation of audit recommendations from internal and external auditors and compliance with all global and regional network procedures and policies by the respective accounting teams. Ensure compliance with SC risk management procedures and appropriate coverage for local risks.Planning and Budgeting Coordinate the annual budgeting, Pre Alert and Strategic planning process ensuring that a comprehensive and accurate plan is completed for submission, including detailed plans for individual departments/Business Units. Participate in and provide input to the evaluation of business expansion programs, and assist in the preparation of Business Case Applications/Capital Expenditure Proposals.Finance Processes Ensure the finance processes comply with regional standards and, where there are deviations, these are adequately substantiated.Cash Flow Management To ensure liquidity is sufficient to pay debts when due, and ensure that employees and suppliers can be paid in accordance with relevant deadlines.Internal Controls Review financial controls in order to attain accurate and complete financial information.Championing Improvement Actively promote the exchange and adoption of Best Practices within the sub-region to leverage collective learning and to improve consistency and productivityRequirementsSkills Presentation skills. Experience in logistics industry (preferable). Communication skills. Negotiation skills.Competencies Customer Orientation Business Acumen Cross Border Thinking Shaping Direction Constructive Challenge Building and Leading Teams Building and Managing Partnerships Commitment to Excel 10-12 years experience in a financial management role, including 5-7 years managerial experience in a large organization. Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent. Professional accountancy qualification (CPA, CA or equivalent).
