Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial LeadershipDevelop and implement financial strategies to achieve the company's long-term objectives.Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and the Board of Directors, providing insights and recommendations for business growth and profitability.
Lead capital allocation, investment decisions, and financial risk management to enhance shareholder value.
Financial Planning and AnalysisOversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.Analyze financial performance, variances, and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
Present financial results and strategies to the Board, investors, and analysts.Regulatory and Compliance ManagementEnsure compliance with corporate governance standards, SEC or relevant regulatory filings, and stock exchange requirements.Oversee audits, financial disclosures, and adherence to accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory changes and risks.Operational LeadershipSupervise finance, accounting, investor relations, and treasury departments.Optimize financial processes, systems, and reporting to improve efficiency and accuracy.Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions.Capital Markets and Investor RelationsLead communication with shareholders, analysts, and stakeholders regarding financial performance.Manage equity and debt financing activities, including IPOs, secondary offerings, or bond issuances.
Oversee dividend policies, share buybacks, and other shareholder-return mechanisms.Risk ManagementIdentify and mitigate financial and operational risks.Develop and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
Lead efforts in crisis management and business continuity planning.
Qualifications:Bcom / McomCPA/CA/CFA ExperienceMinimum of 15 years in finance leadership roles5 years as a CFO or
Equivalent in a publicly listed company. Strong knowledge of capital markets, corporate governance, and compliance.
