Position Overview:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a senior executive responsible for managing the financial actions of the waste management company. The CFO's duties include tracking cash flow, analyzing financial strengths and weaknesses, and overseeing all aspects of financial planning and management. The role involves strategic leadership to ensure the company's long-term financial health while adhering to regulations and enhancing profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Financial Planning:
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.
• Forecast and model financial scenarios to guide business decisions.
• Collaborate with the executive team on long-term business planning.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Prepare annual budgets and monitor financial performance against targets.
• Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide detailed financial forecasting reports to the board.
• Financial Management and Reporting:
• Oversee financial reporting processes, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation laws, and regulations in India.
• Lead the financial audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Fundraising and Investor Relations:
• Identify funding requirements and sources, including loans, equity, and grants.
• Manage relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions.
• Present financial updates and projections to stakeholders and potential investors.
• Regulatory and Compliance Management:
• Ensure the company adheres to Indian financial regulations and industry-specific compliance requirements.
• Oversee taxation processes, including GST, income tax, and other applicable taxes.
• Mitigate financial risks through effective controls and governance practices.
• Operational Efficiency:
• Analyze and optimize the company's financial performance, including cost reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives.
• Monitor the ROI of projects in solid waste management, geosynthetics, and plastic recycling.
• Leadership and Team Management:
• Lead the finance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
• Build a high-performing financial team capable of supporting the company's strategic goals.
• Risk Management:
• Develop strategies to manage financial risks, including foreign exchange, interest rates, and credit risks.
• Implement insurance and contingency measures for company assets.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Education:
• Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
• MBA in Finance or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years of financial management experience, preferably in waste management, recycling, or related industries.
• Proven track record in fundraising, financial planning, and regulatory compliance.
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Tally, SAP, ERP systems).

Pay: ?40,823.39 - ?147,507.31 per month
