Our client is a leader in Marble - Building Materials Industry with its presence for the last 40 Years. They manufacture and exports it to several countries. They are looking for a Chief Financial Officer based in Mumbai. Candidates with exposure to IPO can apply. Below details will help more to understand the role better.

Details about the role:

The incumbent will be responsible for overall handling the Finance & Accounts function of the Company. Responsible for planning, directing, managing, and controlling all the company's financial activities, tax, capital budgeting, cash management, cost management and working capital management including establishing and maintaining financial controls, functional policies and procedures and preparing financial reports. Advises senior management on financial affairs and assists in long-term business planning, exposure to IPO.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial aspects including financial management, accounting principles, and a proven track record of strategic financial leadership
• Provide expertise and guidance in IPO or demerger activities, ensuring compliance and maximizing shareholder value
• Monitor and manage cash flow to optimize liquidity and support operational needs
• Manage banking relationships and optimize financial services to support business operations
• Oversee the development and implementation of Management Information Systems (MIS) to provide timely and accurate financial information for decision-making
• Oversee all financial activities including tax management, capital budgeting, cash management, cost management, and working capital management
• Establish and maintain financial controls, policies, and procedures, and prepare financial reports
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, communicate financial information clearly, and lead a high-performing finance team
• Utilize financial analytics to drive strategic decision-making and improve business outcomes
• Oversee company secretarial duties, legal matters, statutory compliance, and liaison for import-related activities
• Experience in finance, accounts, planning & budgeting, financial closure, treasury, banking compliance, internal control, risk management, taxation, and compliance

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant
• 20+ years of overall experience with at least 5 years in a CFO or similar position
