The Candidate must have completed Chartered Accountant (CA) and have worked for 2 years experience as Chief Financial Officer in any of the NBFC's. A Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in an NBFC company has many responsibilities, including:
Financial reporting
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting, and manage government reporting requirements and tax filings
Financial analysis
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
Budgeting
Oversee budgetary control, monitor expenditure, and conduct variance analysis
Risk management
Analyze company liabilities and investments, and perform risk management
Team leadership
Build and lead a high-performing finance team, and provide mentorship and guidance to team members
Compliance
Ensure compliance with company policy, procedures, and guidelines, as well as financial regulations
Financial planning
Develop and execute funding strategies to support the company's growth plans
Financial IT systems
Oversee financial IT systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory entities
Financial statements
Sign the financial statements
Other responsibilities include:
Providing advice to senior management on finance-related business issues
Building relationships with governments, regulatory bodies, customers, and suppliers
Managing the Asset Liability Committee (ALCO)
Developing and implementing investment strategies
Researching revenue opportunities and economic trends
Analyzing internal operations
Identifying areas for cost reduction and process enhancement
