The position of Chief Expert is the key position in these BIDs. Missions/Main Duties:

• Monitor daily construction and implementation activities to ensure compliance with project plans, designs, and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and technical audits to ensure the quality of work meets prescribed standards.
• Ensure that all construction materials, equipment, and workmanship adhere to project specifications and quality standards.
• Review and approve inspection and test plans (ITPs) and oversee their execution
• Enforce strict adherence to safety standards and protocols at project sites.
• Monitor compliance with environmental regulations, local laws, and statutory guidelines.
• Conduct regular safety audits and provide recommendations for minimizing risks
• Act as the primary point of contact for technical queries and coordination among contractors, consultants, and project management teams.
• Facilitate effective communication between on-site teams and senior project management, ensuring alignment on goals and objectives
• Identify potential issues, risks, or delays in the project and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
• Prepare detailed progress reports, including site observations, work status, and any deviations from plans.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers, supervisors, and other technical staff on best practices and quality standards.

Profile/Skills:

• B.E. in Civil with 20+ years in Construction field of Railway or Railway related projects. Shall have minimum experience in execution of viaduct, Undergrounf & stations in at least two Metro projects.
• Advanced knowledge in quality assurance processes, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
• Strong understanding of metro-specific systems, including rolling stock, signaling, and track systems.
• Strong decision-making skills for on-the-spot problem resolution.
• Ability to lead diverse teams, including contractors, engineers, and consultants.
• Thorough understanding of metro project regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols.
• Experience in obtaining necessary clearances and approvals from authorities.
