Qualifications and Experience:Qualification: B.Tech/B.E.

Experience: 12-15 years in a relevant field (mechanical equipment maintenance in manufacturing).

Notice Period : Immediate to 30 days.

Chief Engineer position focused on mechanical equipment maintenance in a manufacturing environment, specifically for Nylon 6 yarn, chips, and fabric production. Here's a summary of the key responsibilities, skills, and qualifications mentioned:Responsibilities:Compliance and Standards:Ensure adherence to ISO standards (ISO 9000, ISO 14001, 18001) and statutory requirements.Review compliance activities and audit outcomes.Allocate resources as needed to meet compliance goals.Team Capability Development:Evaluate and enhance team skill matrix.Implement training plans and assess training effectiveness.Develop functional training modules.Statutory Compliance:Liaise with government agencies.Ensure compliance with Pollution Control Board (PCB) norms.Manage boiler-related compliance and timely filing of statutory documents.Production Process Continuity:Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans.Analyze breakdown reports and implement corrective actions.Guide improvements to reduce downtime and abnormalities.Cost Optimization:Optimize utility inputs (power, fuel, chemicals) through efficiency improvements.Implement cost-saving measures and negotiate with vendors/suppliers.Focus on energy conservation and minimize maintenance downtime.Maintenance Cost Management:Monitor repair and maintenance expenses.Conduct variance analysis and implement corrective actions.Develop cost-effective spare parts alternatives.Safety Management:Oversee departmental safety committee and ensure adherence to safety standards.Audit safety practices and drive continuous improvement.Ensure equipment safety installations are functional.Project Management:Lead improvement projects and ensure timely completion.Develop and execute departmental improvement plans.Monitor project progress and maintain Capex approval processes.
