Level Up Sports is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Brand Sponsorships Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in securing sponsorships for sports events and a strong network of corporate contacts. This role requires exceptional sales skills, creativity in branding and positioning, and the resilience to achieve ambitious sponsorship goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sponsorship Acquisition:
• Identify and approach potential sponsors for sports events.
• Develop and execute effective sales strategies to secure sponsorship deals.
• Create compelling presentations and pitch proposals tailored to potential sponsors.
2. Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors and corporate partners.
• Act as the main point of contact for sponsors, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
• Negotiate sponsorship terms and agreements.
3. Branding and Positioning:
• Develop creative ideas for branding and positioning sponsor brands within sports events.
• Ensure sponsor branding is effectively integrated and prominently displayed during events.
• Work closely with the event management team to maximize sponsor visibility and engagement.
4. Sales and Networking:
• Leverage an extensive network to identify new sponsorship opportunities.
• Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to build relationships and expand the network.
• Continuously seek new leads and opportunities to grow sponsorship revenue.
5. Performance Tracking:
• Monitor and report on the performance and ROI of sponsorship deals.
• Provide regular updates and feedback to sponsors on their brand's impact and visibility.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the sponsorship landscape.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Proven experience in selling sponsorships for sports events.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Sports Management, or a related field.
• Skills: Strong sales and negotiation skills, excellent presentation and communication abilities, and a creative approach to branding and positioning.
• Network: Extensive network of corporate contacts and potential sponsors.
