Chemistry Lab. Asst.
Job Description
• Performing basic lab tasks such as cleaning glassware and equipment, sterilizing equipment, maintaining inventory of chemicals and supplies, and preparing reagents for use in experiments
• Preparing solutions and working with hazardous materials, such as acids or bases
• Recording data from experiments in a lab notebook and entering the data into a computer
• Handling specimens and performing experiments in chemistry labs for schools, colleges, or universities
• Obtaining supplies or equipment required by the chemistry lab director or professor
• Preparing glassware and equipment for experiments such as flasks, beakers, test tubes, burners, and stirrers
• Preparing chemicals or solutions for use in experiments
• Cleaning glassware, lab equipment, and surfaces in the lab using brushes and detergents
• Maintaining inventory of chemicals and supplies in the lab and ordering new supplies when needed
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ?5,600.00 - ?20,200.00 per month
