Role and Responsibilities

• Direct technicians and other staff in chemical processing and testing, including for ingredients, mixing times, and operating temperatures
• Stay current on relevant technology and industry trends and apply findings to projects/programs
• Analyze substances to determine their composition and concentration of elements
• Identify and describe the required infrastructure of lab tools needed for training, project execution, and future growth
• Conduct tests on materials and other substances to ensure that safety and quality standards are met
• Write technical reports that detail methods and findings
• Assigning tasks to junior chemists, managing them, and assessing their performance
• Collaborates with interdepartmental teams
• Participate in R&D development programs, including attending program meetings
• Read and understand analytical procedures (compendial and client supplied) and internal SOPs

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?32,000.00 per month
