JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Geotechnical Lab Chemist will be responsible for conducting chemical analyses and tests on soil, rock, and other geotechnical materials. The role involves performing laboratory experiments, interpreting results, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and experience with geotechnical materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct chemical analyses of soil, rock, and other geotechnical materials to determine composition and properties.
• Perform standard and specialized laboratory tests, including pH, moisture content, organic content, and chemical reactivity.
• Prepare and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Analyze and interpret test results, and prepare detailed reports and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of experiments, procedures, and results.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and industry regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to support project requirements and provide technical expertise.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to laboratory testing or equipment.
• Stay current with advancements in geotechnical chemistry and laboratory techniques

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
