The Chemist (GC & HPLC) position at our food processing facility in Kottayam, Kerala, is a vital role responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products through rigorous laboratory analysis. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree and substantial experience in chromatography techniques, particularly Gas Chromatography (GC) and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). This role demands a keen analytical mind and attention to detail to maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.### Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough chemical analyses of food products using GC and HPLC methods.
• Prepare and standardize reagents and solutions for laboratory tests.
• Document and analyze test results, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality meets regulatory standards.
• Participate in method development and validation for new testing procedures.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Provide training and guidance to junior lab technicians.

### Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry or a related field.
• 5-20 years of relevant experience in laboratory environments, preferably within the food processing industry.
• Strong expertise in GC and HPLC techniques.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards in food safety.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in data analysis software and laboratory information management systems.
