Job Description

We are seeking a

Chemist

to join our Food and Water Testing Laboratory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing chemical analyses on food and water samples to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct chemical and instrumental analysis of food and water samples (e.g., pH, BOD, COD, heavy metals, pesticides, nutrients, preservatives, etc.). Perform method development and validation according to standard protocols (AOAC, ISO, APHA, BIS, etc.). Record and interpret analytical results; prepare detailed reports and documentation. Ensure all testing meets national and international quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Education:

M.Sc. in Chemistry,

Experience:

0-2 years of relevant laboratory experience, preferably in food and water testing. Familiarity with regulatory standards such as FSSAI, BIS, ISO/IEC 17025, EPA, WHO guidelines, etc. Proficiency in laboratory instruments and software (e.g., LIMS). Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. CANDIDATES WHO CAN JOIN IMMEDIATELY AND IN AND AROUND AMBATTUR

Pay: ?13,000.00 - ?16,000.00 per month
