We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chemical Formulation Chemist to join our team at BVS Enterprises in Dehradun. As a Chemical Formulation Chemist, you will be responsible for developing formulations for automotive detailing products, including but not limited to car shampoo, polish, wax, and other specialty products. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for chemistry and automotive care to contribute to the development of innovative products in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Formulation Development: Develop and optimize formulations for automotive chemical products, including car shampoo, polish, wax, and other detailing products, ensuring high performance, quality, and compatibility with different surfaces.
• Research and Analysis: Conduct research on raw materials, additives, and surfactants to identify new ingredients and technologies that enhance product performance and meet customer requirements. Analyze competitive products and market trends to inform formulation decisions.
• Testing and Evaluation: Design and execute laboratory experiments to test the efficacy, stability, and safety of formulated products. Perform thorough evaluation and analysis of test results, making necessary adjustments to formulations as needed.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of formulation experiments, test results, and product specifications. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations for product development.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including research and development, manufacturing, quality assurance, and marketing, to ensure successful product development and launch. Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide updates on project progress and challenges.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards governing the formulation and labeling of automotive chemical products. Stay informed about relevant regulations and industry guidelines to ensure product safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in formulation development, preferably in the automotive or chemical manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of chemistry principles, particularly in surfactant chemistry, polymer science, and formulation techniques.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and techniques for formulation, testing, and analysis.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards for chemical products, such as REACH, GHS, and SDS.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present technical information clearly and concisely.
