POST - CHEMICAL ENGINEER

JOB LOCATION - SAUDI ARABIA ( DAMMAM )

SALARY RANGE - AS PER INTERVIEW & EXPERIENCE ( NEGOTIABLE )

EXPERIENCE - Minimum of 05 to 08 years of experience in Gulf, preferably with Saudi Aramco, Sabic and their affinities'.

QUALIFICATION - Minimum of bachelor degree (B E / B. Tech in Chemical Engineering)

(JD) - Chemical Engineer

The chemical engineer is expected to have full knowledge and experience in analyzing the chemical parameters which include chemical reaction, chemical characteristic, temperature, crude / process chemicals and industrial products specifications, identify causes and solutions as per the requirements.

Main:

1. Gather information from inspection reports and plan for Chemical Cleaning, Equipment / Pipeline flushing activity.

2. Have excellent knowledge of governments system with respect to waste management and chemical utilization parameters.

3. Attend to any RFQ related to Chemical cleaning, Pre - commissioning, provide support and solution using the safest, reliable and cost-efficient approach and compliance with the Aramco & Sabic industrial standard.

4. Response to any technical query regarding any issues related to Chemical Cleaning, Equipment / Pipeline flushing activity, on latest standard engineering practice.

5. Prioritize equipment maintenance and improvement activity to minimize on job interruption.

6. Develop scope of works based on site inputs and inspection reports and prepare budgetary estimates for any materials and service requisition.

7. Review and study the design of existing assets for further improvement whenever necessary.

8. Develop plan for any job-related activities and coordinate with HSE, Logistic and other disciplines prior execution.

9. Develop site specific procedures, work pack and personnel mobilization plan.

10. Provide technical input for tender plan, technical evaluation and presentation of contracts.

11. Ensure all project documents (JCC, P&ID, piping plan, isometric drawings, assembly drawings and equipment layout) are up to date and properly documented and have easy access for references.

12. Ensure proper procedures in place and in line with the standard engineering and statutory requirements prior any fabrication, testing, lifting, transportation, installation and hook up pre - commissioning activities.

13. Monitor all post project activities and responsible to make sure that all the equipment's and hoses are to be in ready condition for next job.

14. Technically sounded with the functions of Pre commissioning (Chemical cleaning, Hydrotesting, Lube Oil Flushing Etc.)

15. Having knowledge of working of high-pressure pump, boilers etc.

16. Having sound knowledge of Visio software for preparation of Loop connections plan, site plan etc.

17. Having excellent knowledge of chemical and their reaction parameters.

Secondary:

1. Ensure the Chemical Cleaning equipment & hoses are fit for purpose before performing the job.

2. Carrying out quarterly, half yearly and Annual maintenance of equipment's as instructed by supervisor.

3. Periodic checking function of Operation of Pumps and Boilers and other assets available in yard.

4. Having an excessive experience in Hazardous and Operability Studies (HAZOP)

5. Complies with the highest level of safety at workshop and site to avoid any type of accidents.

Qualification:

1. Minimum of bachelor degree (B E / B. Tech in Chemical Engineering)

2. Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in Gulf, preferably with Saudi Aramco, Sabic and their affinities'.

3. Having excellent leadership quality and capable to lead the team of junior engineers, supervisors.

4. Able to handle pressure and deal with client with respect to company requirements.

5. Respect company HSE policy, Ethics and system.
