Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Chemical Engineer to lead our chemical engineering department. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the field and hold a BE in Chemical Engineering or an MSc in Chemistry. As the department head, you will be responsible for overseeing all chemical engineering processes and ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the chemical engineering department, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
• Develop and optimize processes for refining precious metals and creating alloys.
• Oversee electroplating processes to deposit thin layers of metals on jewellery pieces.
• Manage chemical cleaning processes to remove impurities from metal surfaces.
• Conduct chemical analyses to ensure the quality and purity of materials.
• Implement and monitor quality control measures to maintain consistent standards.
• Design and manage waste management processes, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
• Conduct research and development to improve existing processes and develop new ones.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations for chemical processes.
• Continuously improve chemical processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Train and supervise technicians and other staff involved in chemical processes.
• Develop standard operating procedures and safety guidelines for chemical operations.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• BE in Chemical Engineering or MSc in Chemistry.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in chemical engineering.
• Strong knowledge of chemical processes and materials used in jewellery production.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?70,000.00 - ?90,000.00 per month
