Required NABL Lab Experience Chemist for Gmada Aero City, (Mohali)

Candidate possessing degree in Chemical Engineering is required for Water Testing Labs of our STP Plants and must have NABL Lab, Exp 1-2yr

Qualification: B.Sc. Chemistry or B.Tec /diploma Chemical Engineering.

Responsibilities

1. Chemical Analysis: Chemists must perform tests like pH, COD, BOD, TSS, Fecal coliform , any other tests like TN, TKN, TP if needed can be performed accordingly to trend demand.

2. Process Optimization: By analyzing data from chemical tests and other monitoring equipment, operational Parameters like SVI, MLSS, and MLVSS the chemist can identify inefficiencies or potential problems in the treatment process and recommend adjustment or improvements to optimize treatment performance.

3. Troubleshooting: When issues arise during treatment operations, such as equipment malfunctions, the chemist needs to diagnose the problem in coordination with electrical/mechanical team and implement corrective actions to restore optimal performance.

4. NABL Lab: Candidate should have experience in any NABL Lab for environment related testing.

5. Documentation and Record Keeping: Chemist maintain detailed records of lab testing records, sludge generation and disposal records, chemical maintenance activities, including inspection reports, calibration records and equipment servicing schedules.

6. Preparing shift schedule: Chemist must prepare shift schedule of operators and helpers and ensure they report to duty on time and take lunch or tea breaks according to prescribed timetable.

7. Experience: 1-2 Years of experience is required as lab chemist in any water treatment plant company.

8. Salary: 18k - 22k
