• Architect, design, and maintain robust data pipelines for processing large datasets.
• Implement real-time and batch data processing using Spark, Kafka, and similar platforms.
• Optimize data processing jobs for scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to manage AWS cloud environments.
• Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to enable data-driven insights.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and conducting code reviews.
• Stay updated with the latest data engineering tools and frameworks.
• Ensure system performance, cost-efficiency, and high-quality service delivery.

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).

• 12+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on AWS cloud.
• Expertise in AWS services such as S3, DMS, Lambda, EMR, Glue, Redshift, RDS (Postgres), Athena, and Kinesis.
• Data modeling and modern file/table format knowledge.
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL/PLSQL for ETL and data pipeline development.
• Experience with data replication tools like Qlik Replicate and AWS DMS.
• Understanding of cloud-based data architecture (Data Lake, EDW, Data Marts).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and data observability.
• Data lineage, metadata management, and monitoring setup.
• Data warehousing and enterprise data management experience.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty) are a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
