• We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Chef to join our coffee house team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in South Indian and North Indian cuisines, with a passion for maintaining culinary excellence. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting food items to align with our coffee house's standards while ensuring high levels of hygiene and customer satisfaction.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Menu Planning and Development:
•
• Create and curate a variety of South Indian (like dosa, idli, uttapam) and North Indian (like parathas, chaat, sandwiches) dishes to complement the coffee house's offerings.
• Develop fusion options suited for a cafe-style environment.
• Food Preparation and Presentation:
•
• Prepare fresh and high-quality dishes consistently.
• Ensure all items are presented aesthetically in line with the coffee house style.
• Inventory and Stock Management:
•
• Monitor and manage ingredient stock levels.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the availability of high-quality ingredients.
• Minimize food wastage through smart stock handling and preparation techniques.
• Kitchen Operations and Hygiene:
•
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
• Ensure food safety protocols are followed (FSSAI compliance, if applicable).
• Collaboration with Staff:
•
• Work closely with the barista team to pair food with coffee beverages.
• Train and supervise kitchen assistants and helpers, as needed.
• Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Chef or Cook with expertise in South Indian and North Indian cuisines.
• Ability to design a menu suited for a coffee house environment.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
• Good time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently.
• Creative approach to developing new recipes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience working in a cafe, coffee house, or fast-casual dining setting.
• Basic knowledge of fusion cuisine trends.
• Familiarity with modern kitchen equipment and processes.
