: Chef de Partie

Report to: Executive Chef

Job Summary: The Chef de Partie is responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene. They work closely with the Executive Chef to maintain the Resort's culinary standards and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes within the allotted station according to Resort standards and recipes.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications set by the Executive Chef.
• Maintain the highest quality standards in food preparation to ensure consistency across all dishes.
• Ensure strict hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained within the station, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with other chefs, kitchen staff, and servers to ensure smooth service and efficient communication.
• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff to ensure they understand their tasks and perform them correctly.
• Ensure all equipment in the section is used properly and maintained in good working order.
• Report any equipment issues or breakdowns to the Executive Chef promptly.
• Assist in controlling costs by managing waste, adhering to portion sizes, and using ingredients efficiently.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
• Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and practices.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and lead junior staff.
• Attention to detail and creativity in food presentation.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
