• Food preparation : Prepare and cook South Indian dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
• Menu planning : Assist in developing menus for South Indian cuisine
• Quality control : Ensure food quality, hygiene, and safety standards are met
• Inventory management : Manage and control inventory for the assigned section
• Section management : Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
• Customer service : Anticipate and address guests' service needs
• Staff management : Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating employees
• Safety : Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
• Communication : Inform the chef of excess food items and inform the food and beverage service staff of menu specials
