### Chef de Partie (CDP) All-Rounder Job Title: Chef de Partie (CDP) All-Rounder Reports To: Sous Chef / Head Chef Location: [Palakkad ] Department: Kitchen / Culinary #### Job Summary: The Chef de Partie (CDP) all-rounder is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes within their specialty. They must be versatile, capable of working across different sections of the kitchen, and able to assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in managing the kitchen's daily operations. The CDP ensures that the highest standards are maintained in terms of food quality, presentation, and hygiene. #### Key Responsibilities: - Food Preparation and Cooking: - Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the menu. - Assist in developing new dishes and menus. - Ensure that food is prepared and presented in a professional manner. - Kitchen Operations: - Work across various sections of the kitchen, including but not limited to: starters, mains, desserts, and sides. - Assist in the daily operations of the kitchen. - Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages. - Manage and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to kitchen standards. - Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment by following hygiene and safety protocols. - Quality Control: - Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to the restaurant's standards. - Perform regular quality checks and ensure consistency in all dishes. - Address any customer feedback or complaints regarding food quality. - Team Collaboration: - Work closely with other kitchen staff to coordinate and ensure smooth kitchen operations. - Communicate effectively with the front-of-house team to ensure timely service. - Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef with menu planning and food costing. - Hygiene and Safety: - Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas. - Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. #### Skills and Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a busy kitchen environment. - Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment. - Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. - Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks. - Strong organizational and multitasking skills. - Excellent communication and leadership abilities. - Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus. #### Working Conditions: - Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. - Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks. - Willingness to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. ---Send CV to : gm@aurevoir.co.in
