Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef De Partie at Hyatt Centric Mumbai. The Chef De Partie will be responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting dishes of his or her assigned section. The Chef De Partie is also expected to oversee the work of the junior chefs in his or her unit, particularly when it comes to the quality of the dishes being prepared. Additionally, the Chef De Partie will assist the Sous chef in creating new dishes, menus, and improving existing recipes. Qualifications Culinary arts diploma or degree At least 3 years of experience working in a professional kitchen Knowledgeable in various cooking techniques and continental cuisines Experience in supervising and managing a team Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other chefs and kitchen staff Up-to-date knowledge of kitchen health and safety procedures Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours Experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant is a plus
