Job Summary As an Associate within Controls Management you will execute on the controls agenda across the Service Delivery dept, partnering closely with Operations. You will engage the business to create innovative solutions to manage risk and improve the customer experience, ensuring that the appropriate controls are embedded in the relevant business processes and customer journeys. Our team is at the heart of building this new venture, focused on developing offerings that put the customer at the center. Job Responsibilities: Manage control-related activities, including risk event data occurrences and new business initiatives Develop and support a proactive risk and control culture within our digitally-driven business that leveragesdistributedinteraction among peers to drive proven risk and control evaluation strategies as well as sound change management protocols Overlay your technology, process management and operational risk skills to develop, maintain and test operational controlslibraries Review and analyse program-relateddata frames(e.g., KRIs/KPIs) to proactively identify existing and emerging operational risks to business-related programs and strategies Partner effectively with colleagues across the firm, business, operations management, legal, compliance, risk, audit, regulators, and technology control functions to drive consistent and rigorous operational risk practices and Control programs including Control Committees, risk mitigation, key risk indicators, control design and performance evaluation Create aninner joinwith control colleagues across the firm, business, operations management, legal, compliance, risk, audit, regulators, and technology control functions to further establish and maintain business relationshiploops Maintain Internal Operational Risk Events \' Firmwide Procedures.Maintain Firmwide risk event recording tool in line with these Standards Escalate Internal operational risk events at Control Committee(s), as appropriate, and comply with the Escalations Required for Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risks Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 3+ years financial service experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, or compliance Proficient knowledge of control and risk management concepts with the ability to design, create and evaluate the operational risk and control environment in conjunction with business partners Experience working and efficiently delivering in an information technology area / environment is a plus (E.g. IT Auditing, Programming Controls, Data Management and Governance or the like) Understanding of the EMEA banking industry and regulatory environment would be an advantage Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to influence business leaders in a meaningful and actionable manner Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Familiarity with modern front-end technologies Exposure to cloud technologies #ICBCareer
